I believe this is a good vcr for anyone, even the kids. This vcr brand has been durable vs. others that I have purchased which has lasted a little over a year. Other vcr brands have cut the ribbon of many of my tapes.
When I first went to purchase a new vcr I did not know to much about the brand Toshiba. I decided to try it out and it has proven itself worthy of this positive opinion. I can leave the kids alone with the vcr in the room and it will not be damaged. It withstands the constant pushing in of the tapes by the children, and playing with the buttons. It has not caused me any grief, and I have yet to have it fixed do to any problems.
It, also, is easy to set up and program. It is self clean, with dust. It can operated manually or by remote. I give this vcr 2 big thumbs up because it is durable and long lasting. It shows pictures perfectly and withstands even the energy of the children always fiddling with it. If you need to buy another vcr try this one out. You will be as satisfied as I am. Movies are a dream to see now, and worry is a thing of the past. Happy Shopping.
