Pee-Yuu! This one's a stinker!
Pros
Got a discount
Cons
Every feature, picture, sound

Yes
VCR technology is a couple of decades old now, so you'd think everyone would get it right. WRONG!!
This is one bad unit.
On every level. The sound quality is horrible. It's filled with noise and hissing. The picture quality is grainy. Tapes recorded on it don't play well on other machines. The face controls are obvious but limited. The remote is not very user friendly. But the worst is the difficulty you have setting up for recording. It is not user friendly at all. I've had several vcrs, and used still others at work. I've programmed many of them. This is the hardest one to program I've ever used.
All that aside, even if you work out the byzantine steps to program, you are still left with poor sound and picture.
And if that wasn't bad enough, I bought it from 800.com. This was the worst of two bad experiences with this crowd. I won't be trusting anything from them for a long time.
