6 Heads=superb picture quality!!!

Pros All the capabilities of its 6 HEADS/quasi S-VHS playback.
Cons none really
Recommended it? Yes
When I first got the Toshiba M735 I first Thought it was an Odd Looking machine, but as soon as I hooked it up I realized how much better the picture quality was Than my Sony VCR. Wow ! what a difference 6 heads make! The forward and reverse scan are so smooth it is unbelievable.
The 19 micron cut heads record very sharp images that are only surpassed in VCR's by S-VHS units. As a matter of fact it has quasi S-VHS playback capability at lower resolution of coarse. The unit is easy to use, and also has great Hi-fi sound. It has a decent remote control that has
multi brand code capability. I have never seen a VCR forward and rewind a tape with such speed, indicating to me that Toshiba has used hi quality motors in this unit. It is also whisper quiet when its going through all its functions. Half of its controls are hidden behind a mini compartment and it also has front panel video and audio jack inputs that are also hidden behind a mini door, making for a very clean and clutter less look. Its odd looks have really grown on me. I should also mention that this machine can be purchased at a real bargain price. Less than $149 in most stores.I highly recommend this VCR if slow motion effects are important to you, and sharp picture quality. Remember, 6 Heads!!
