Nice replacement for a nice price
I got this VCR as a gift from my boyfriend, I got to choose which model I wanted, and for our price range and viewing and recording needs, this one was perfect.

Picture:
Very good picture due to the 6 heads and 19 micron architecture. It always finds the best tracking setting without my messing with it.

I recently was reminded that 6 heads produces a better picture only when pausing or using slow motion, and that normal playback...

Great VCR, mostly
I bought this VCR from an online auction, and was sceptical about possible quality. I am happy to report that my worries never came true.... The VCR was not DOA, didn't break within the first month, and it actually has great quality recording and playback.

Toshiba M-735 Best recorder I've seen

6 Heads=superb picture quality!!!
When I first got the Toshiba M735 I first Thought it was an Odd Looking machine, but as soon as I hooked it up I realized how much better the picture quality was Than my Sony VCR. Wow ! what a difference 6 heads make! The forward and reverse scan are so smooth it is unbelievable.
