I have just returned my third set in less than 2 months. After approx 7 days, the picture will start to show problems. The major problem is that the picture will momentarily collapse to a single horizontal line in the middle of the screen. The sound continues to work and the picture will pop right back. However, it is annoying. Also, the colors on the screen get brighter and dimmer after a picture collapse.
We originally had a problem recording. It is because of the unusually way that you have to select the timer record function. This is a little strange and takes some getting used to.
