It's great when it works
Pros
Great picture and sound with ear buds or with connection to the car stereo.
Cons
Sound is marginal quality from unit's speakers. If used sparingly the unit becomes useless.

I bought it at Best Buy in 2006 and it worked great as a novelty and on our first road trip in summer 2007. It had a great picture and with ear buds, great sound. Without ear buds, the speakers could not be heard in the car. It became a great travel companion for passengers but has been only used sporatically. The result, it became very tempermental and in summer 2008 became selective on which discs it would play. I've now been trying to get it operational for the 2009 summer and it will not work properly at all. Only occasionally will a disc get past the loading stage, and when it does it will show the menu but the movie won't start.
