bought this dvd for occassional use. worked about 5 times then died. luckily had an extended warranty. I got a new replacement, and died again after 4 uses(no valid disc). before this had a Toshiba spd 1400 which also died (thus the extended warranty this time). Replaced now with a Panasonic. Hope this does better!!
