toshiba has hit all the marks, i love this dvd player
Pros
The best dvd player i have ever owned
Cons
i have found none, (well a lighted remote control)would be nice.
Recommended it?
Yes
The Bottom Line:
A great low cost dvd player that hits all the marks, well done
i have owned over 4 dvd players, and they come in all catagories, the good the bad, and why dont this thing work.
when i was looking for a second dvd player the price was first and foremost and the price for the toshiba sd-2900 was impressive least to say, i also wanted a dvd player that could play dvd-r, since the majority of my dvd's were burned, and i took a closer look at the sd-2900, but after a few months with this dvd player i think it was the best $75.00 i ever spent.
this player is a gem, the first thing you notice with this player is the nifty digital screen that welcomes you, and tells you what the player is currently doing, and a big plus for me is the picture viewer, you can burn digital photo on your computer and view them as a slideshow or individually on the sd-2900.
the manual supplied with this player has so many options it will make your head spin, and this player is compatible with so many different formats it will leave a permanent smile on your face, i also own a panasonic dmr-e30 and i use that mostly for burning dvd's, but i use the toshiba for viewing them, if you are looking for a low cost super, multi format dvd player pick up this one and skip on home, your money was well spent.
