This is one DVD player that is able to bring the picture quality to new heights and the sound to unbelievable levels of realism. No more hisses, pops, cracks, unstable tracking, distorted or low sound, white snow outs, or poor picture quality.
Every time you put in a disc you get what you expect, picture perfect quality high resolutions images and incredible sound, if you have a home theater system. I couldn't believe the quality that I got when I purchased the Toshiba SD1200. I was simply astounded by the sound and the picture.
If you have one of those new high resolution tv's this DVD player will use every last line to produce the sharpest image that I have ever seen. You could even see the imperfections in the skin of some actors, like you were looking directly at them. No more blurred or distorted images to deal with because all you get is razor sharp mind blowing real life quality images.
The sound is no slouch either running right behind the extraordinary image quality. The processors breath new life into the depth that can be felt and heard in the music if you have a home theater system. I talking about full surround dolby full logic 3D 6 level sound( 6 speaker output, tower speakers, surround speakers left and right, center channel speaker, and satellite subwoofer for incredible explosions and bass).
I loved the overall quality of the player. Again I have to say the sound was amazing. But the picture quality was out of this world thanks to the new circuitry( 10-Bit 27Mhz Video DAC, Colorstream Component Video Output, 540 lines of superb resolution). You will love this DVD player and the price isn't exactly cheap but not too expensive either for the level of quality.
