Toshiba SD-9000 DVD Player

A fantastic machine. Everything you could hope for.... as long as you don't want to play any DVD from Disney, Touchstone, Pixar, Dreamworks and some Sony DVD's. Any dual layer style seems to refuse to load. Toshiba has a list of many machines that are having this problem as some producers are looking for ways to make you buy a new player or trying to find ways to code older players that may have a way to download their discs. Toshiba refuses to upgrade or repair this model or offer you a trade in for a player that will work. Disney acknowledges that they know some of their DVD's won't work in all machines and offer to buy them back if you mail them to Disney. I have taken CARS, Prestige, Cronicle of Narnia and The Greatest Game ever Played back to the store as they just won't load, period.
