The Bottom Line:
If you're gonna spend the money, make sure that this is good enough for you. You could do better.
This player combs on a lot of material. This player is below the bar in de-interlacing performance.
However, on the good side, it?s quick and easy to switch modes. Just wish I didn't have to do it so often.
This player has the chroma upsampling bug, that will be visible on any film that has saturated red colors, but you might not see it if you don?t look for it.
This player has a strange problem with certain movies. Portions of the screen would ripple. I read somewhere it has to do with the blacker than black setting.
Overall, it's a heavy-hitting machine. It definitely enhances you movie watching experience... I guess I just finally want perfection.
