Its older but still good

Pros Spectacular 8.9" screen. Styled pretty good and feels expensive and well built.
Cons Spectacularly crappy sound. "Feeling well built" is another way of saying, "its pretty heavy".
Recommended it? Yes
The Bottom Line:  If your looking for the best picture, your search is over. Many claim thier pick is the 'hot stuff' but I've seen them and snubbed my nose at them.
I got this for my wife for Christmas. I have been secretly tinkering with it just to check it out and see how it does. I bought it used on eBay and it came with most accessories available and was in very good condition. Even though the seller had said they charged up the battery the unit was dead when I got it. Probably needs the battery charged again? I hooked it up with AC power and watched X-Men 2. My first impression was the terrific picture it has. Very smooth, no jaggies, lots of lushous little pixels to tickly my fancy. My second impression was the amazingly crappy audio barely getting pushed out. Why couple the Lexus of silky smooth screens with the craptacular sounds of an 80's AC Delco radio? Which reviewer said that you can't expect much from such a small system? I've dealt with many small systems and this is no exception and there is no excuse for the tinny mud being forcibly squeezed from the pathetic 1/2" piezos. You have to use an externally amplified speaker set or headphones to enjoy this unit. All together I think she is going to like the unit at her job. It will be better then lugging around that Dell Inspiron 9300 I got her for movies. It has easy to use controls, very stylish looks and, in my opinion, the screen is the most important for something like this, and in this department excells all others.

Check out my review on the 'JBL On Tour' speaker set that not only fills in whats missing but bridges the gap between home and on-the-go video entertainment.
