Pros Very slim, one of the lowest priced upconversion DVD players, HDMI and optical output.
Cons Distracting blue light, no backlighting on remote, DVD pauses when upconverting.
Recommended it? Yes

I went into Best Buy looking for a DVD player for less than $100 with DTS capabilities and an optical output for audio and I found this player. Pros Looks real nice
Cons Stopped working after 6 months small remote hard to adjust picture settings.
Recommended it? No

Maybe I just got the bad apple but I had some real bad luck with this player. I just purchased a new 56 inch HD TV and needed a DVD player with a HDMI connections. I thought Toshiba was a far better brand than Phillips and I was not going to dish out over $1000.00 for the HD or Blue ray players... Read full review »
