Pros Much Improved Model & Remote, Response, Amazing Visual Quality, Features and Price.
Cons None so Far.
Recommended it? Yes

The SD-5980 is a HUGE improvement, over the previous version the SD-5970. It's a 2006 model, and like many electronic companies Toshiba releases these early summer, and all companies by August.

What we have here is not only a better looking player, and one with a remote that actually "... Read full review »

Recommended it? No

Purchased the Toshiba DVD player the other night from Best Buy. Immediately impressed by the look and style. Did not come w/ RBG cables or HDMI cable. Plugged everything in and didn't work. Didn't recognize DVDs in the player. Took back and got a new one. This one did not have output on the blue... Read full review »
