Great product for the price if you don't mind messy cabling
Pros
Price, includes all cables, has audio switching
Cons
Form factor, proprietary cabling
Recommended it?
Yes
The Bottom Line:
Great buy for the price but with a tangle of cables everywhere.
DESCRIPTION: The TK-408K 4-Port PS/2 Audio KVM Switch lets you control multimedia PCs with just one keyboard, monitor, mouse, microphone, and a set of speakers. The KVM switch not only allows you to share your monitor, keyboard and mouse but you can also share microphone and speakers. With just a simple press of a button, this KVM switch eliminates the hassle of cable swapping and switching between 4 PCs. With it's Hot-Plug, Auto-Scan and Hot-Key operating features, the TK-408K is the perfect choice for managing 4 PCs.
PROS: The price, it actually works, doesn't appear to degrade video quality, includes ALL necessary cables for 4 PCs, can switch audio and microphone (unique feature), hotkey switching works flawlessly.
CONS: The form factor is truly my only gripe for this product. Cables literally attach to all 4 sides so this won't be sitting on your desktop due to the cable mess and footprint required. I'd give this an A+ if it was a solid rectangle with all ports on the back. Also, though it includes cables the KVM cable is proprietary with 1 VGA-type plug that connects to the switch and VGA/mouse/key on the other end. So you won't be re-using your existing cables.
