The Bottom Line:
Lots of promise but it ultimately fell short and is being returned for a refund. I GIVE UP!
After several hours updating this remote finally got it to operate my system the way I wanted it to.Dont get me wrong here, I WANTED it to work and was perfectly willing and happy to go through whatever programming scenario I need to in order to make it work with my system consistently. This was NOT a process for the electronically timid mind. Actually was a pain in the butt. Could not actually find the proper procedure for my particular TV on Harmony's website, had to find the solution on an internet forum. Here is my dilemma with this remote and the reason I am returning it. If I let the remote sit for more than 45 mins, it will "forget" its command string "macro". Apologies if that is the wrong way to describe. In other words, after the remote forgets, I have to wade through menu's to re-synchronize the remote with the current status of my components. This is regardless of whether the components are on or off at that particular time. I am disappointed to have to return this item, I really wanted it to be a useful device. I do NOT recommend it. I bought this remote to "replace" 3 other remotes, NOT to be an addition to them. Plain and simple, it is a pain in the butt to use and I no longer want it.
