After all these years it still works perfectly and always has
I bought this GE vcr almost 20 years ago and after all it has been through (being dropped, food and drinks spilled on it, moving days, etc) it is still working like the day we bought it. Yes , there are more fancy vcr's out there with more features, bla, bla, bla but I wonder where they'll be in 20 years.
It's easy as can be to use, the recordings are of fine quality, the sound is clear, it still looks modern and it has never eaten a tape, stopped working, missed a pre-set recording, or performed with anything less than what it was intended to do. If it never played another tape (and it has played an enormous amount in its life) I would be totally satisfied with this machine.
If only GE would start building cars............
