This unit would appear to be the real deal. It equals the performance of my Pioneer THX Ultra 27TX and adds about twice as many features. Both are great units for HT. I am a two-channel audio nut with expensive speakers and amplification. This review has nothing to do with that. It is intended to acknowledge a good deal for some other folks out there. Has a vast array of HT and Surround features. Has a very reasonable auto set function for speaker balancing.Decent power for speakers rated, I would say, 87db sensitivity.
