I got Model IS-PD040922
Pros
Sound, picture, portability, size, construction are all good. Has a very quiet motor.
Cons
No Audio/Visual cable for hook-up to a large TV. Big Deal, I already had one.
Recommended it?
Yes
One slick little player.
I must have read close to 50 or more reviews on different brands and models. After returning 3 different "other" brands, I decided to try this brand. I like the battery, it doesn't warm up the whole unit. After the initial charging of the battery I ran a DVD, then a CD until it was run out. It lasted close to 4 hours non-stop. It easily hooks up to a large TV, it runs well, it was gotten for traveling, it worked well off the car adapter as well as AC. For the price, it is durable, compact, that does what I wanted it for. I am pleased, but it is only a machine and made by man, subject to defects and breaking. I recommend purchasing the product, test it out in all areas you plan to use it. If it doesn't meet your approval return it. I did that with 3 "other" brands, which were reviewed as being "Very good" yet cost a lot more.
