I will never buy another Viewsonic.
Pros
The price was reasonable and NewEgg was great to deal with.
Cons
The quality was sub-par, but their customer service is horrible. Viewsonic, you should be ashamed!

The Bottom Line:
Never again!
It started out that the TV worked fine from a cable (coax) source, but when I hooked it up to a DVD player I was only able to get about 50% volume from the set when it was turned up all of the way. After spending a few hours on the phone with Viewsonic tech support, they determined that my DVD player was the culprit. After all, they should know their business.
I picked up a brand new Sony DVD player and, you guessed it, the issue was still there. I tried hooking up to the composite source and had a whole other set of issues with the TV there. I called Viewsonic back and they finally agreed to service it (since it was now too late to return it to NewEgg).
I carefully repackaged it in the original box with all of the original packaging material and drove it to Viewsonic myself. (Their Walnut, CA office happens to be about 30 minutes from my home).
Well, I received my TV back from Viewsonic yesterday in an oversized plain vanilla cardboard box. I could hear things moving around inside the box, but figured that it must be the snap on stand had come loose. NO, they did such a horrible job of packaging my TV, that it had been flopping around inside the box the whole way here.
Now that it is damaged, they won't even call me back. My suspicion is that they will try to blame it on FedEx. Not a chance! It is obvious that I care much more about my TV than they do.
So, I've been burned by a lousy product followed up by lousy service. Never again Viewsonic, never again.
With all of the time, money, and gas I've wasted on this I could have/should have had a much better quality TV to begin with.
