Outstanding Wide Screen Monitor

Pros Great color rendition, high resolution, beautiful appearance.
Cons Speakers are not that great, but I did not buy for the speakers.
Recommended it? Yes

Purchased locally at a Retailer, but did a lot of research on this model before purchase. Set up was easy, and no dead pixels out of the box. The Monitor is beautifully finished and is a work of art. Pros Good ms, good resolution, good horizontal viewing
Cons not reliable, bad vertical viewing range, no swivel
Recommended it? No

I had three defective units in a row. Each with different issues. In addition ViewSonic was not helpful in replacing the monitors.

Pros Good horizontal viewing angles. Colors are good.
Cons Bad vertical viewing angle. Too slow of response time for gaming.
Recommended it? No

First of all, the vertical viewing angle is terrible. I first noticed this when I had a solid background color, but it looked like a color gradient going from top to bottom.
This is unacceptable for a Viewsonic product.
