Pleasantly surprised :-)
I received this telescope as a Christmas present and thought, "Oh great, a toy...thanks hun" but when I mounted it on a better tripod and pointed it out the window I got a spectacular view of the moon. Disappointing toy telescope
My stepson received a Vivitar 50x/100x Refractor Telescope for Christmas. He excitedly took it out to our balcony, from where he got a nice view of the nearby mountain and the local neighborhood. Dissapointed
