BAD VERY BAB
I got this tv thru shopnbc on Jan 2006 it was my first hdtv.

Vivitek is okay, but you can buy better for the same money
I bought this TV two years ago. I am still enjoying it to this day. But honestly, if I can do it again...I would go to best buy or Circuit city and buy myself a Hitachi, Mitsubishi or Sony instead (these have newer and more features for the same money I spent on the Vivitek).

vivitek scam
I have mine sitting on the fireplace mantle and connected to home theater unit YRW RCA cables. Due the the height, everyone sitting on the couch in front of the TV loses some brightness. I have had an awful experience with this tv. I will never buy a Vivitek tv again. I'm having to replace the lamp for the 2nd time in 2 years and the picture is horrible.
