I have mine sitting on the fireplace mantle and connected to home theater unit YRW RCA cables. Due the the height, everyone sitting on the couch in front of the TV loses some brightness. Anyone sitting off to the side can barely see it at all. Projection bulb life span advertised at 6000 hours - mine lasted 2000 hrs - Vivitek offered no assistance with replacing the bulb - charged me $200 for a new bulb and it takes weeks to get a new bulb shipped! Vivitek support not friendly or helpful at all.
