Vizio L37 37" HDTV LCD TV

Three weeks before the Christmas holiday, out 26" flat screen, went black just 51 weeks after purchasing. With an average of 8-10 viewed hours per week, we were sorely disappointed. After receiving our refund, wife and I saw the VIZIO L37, flat screen 37" on display next to a Samsung 36" and an Equos(?) 36/37/38(?)." We compared the picture quality and clarity, sound, and style of the unit. Needless to say that for the price, about 2/3's of the other two sets, all the needs were being met. We purchased and got it home, a five to ten minute set up, from box to ON. Another five minutes before we had figured out the remote, and different settings. Our neighbors, friends, and family cannot believe that this TV was much less that $1,000., and we receive lifetime tech support through Costco.
