A purchase that won't last

Mounted on wall easily.
Cons
A main board failure is a huge problem. Vizio quality control must be substandard.

I bought the Vizio VX20L in approximately 4/07 at Costco with my Costco rebate check. There were no problems in that first year. By 7/08 the screen was going bad. The picture was obliterated by dark color patches around the moving images. The repairman said a main board was bad, and the cost of repair would exceed the purchase price. There was a one-year warranty, which doesn't cover the time frame that the TV failed. I wouldn't trust Vizio after this experience.
