Upon moving into my dorm room for my freshman year of college, I had purchased a similar 26" Vizio from Costco. After about a month, I came across a deal for this 32" Vizio HDTV for roughly the same amount that I had paid for the 26"! After a little searching, I found a 10% off coupon for Target from eBay, which I got for $.99 that ended up saving me an additional $38. After taxes and with free shipping, I paid $365 for this TV, which I still believe is a great deal.
On to the TV itself... My biggest complaint with the 26" Vizio that I returned when I found the deal on this TV was that it had poor picture quality when viewing in standard definition. In addition to poor resolution, it seemed like there wasn't the right amount of light or some other setting was off that made viewing increasingly difficult, but I couldn't figure out the right setting to correct the problem. On the larger screen, however, the picture is noticeably better, in my opinion. While standard definition viewing is still not very good, that is a prevalent problem with widescreen HDTVs because the picture is stretched to fill the screen.
Through my standard cable service in my college dorm, we receive about five HD channels, I believe. We get CBS, FOX, NBC, ABC, and Versus in HD. There may be one or two others that I'm forgetting about here. In high-def, the picture quality on this TV is EXCELLENT. Sound quality is also good in either SD or HD, and our XBOX 360 looks very good on the screen in high-def.
My biggest complaint with this TV is the remote control. It's very simple and easy to use, but some functions, like sleep mode, require going through the menu to utilize. In contrast, the 26" Vizio that I had featured a button on the remote that activated the sleep feature with the push of the button.
Overall, I love my Vizio and would definitely consider buying another one, either as a 32" or a different size. It's a sleek looking TV that is easy to use, offers good picture quality (GREAT in HD), and has a plethora of other features for a great price.
