The Bottom Line:
If you buy this LCD TV save your receipt and put it on a credit card that doubles your warranty.
I usually read the reviews on this website but, this time I feel obligated to give my opinion so someone else dose their research and does not waste their hard earned money. 1st TV would turn on by itself in the middle of the night twice this happened. So, I went through the menu and disabled the turn TV on when power is restored button. That worked so far. There was also a loud hum. I took the TV back to the store.
Dummy me I exchanged for the same TV. I had the second TV about two weeks. Last night at about 10pm I walked into my bedroom and the TV is glowing a dark blue screen. I tried to shut it off with the remote nothing happened. So, I tried to shut the power off at the TV but, nothing happened. So, I unplugged it and plugged back in. The LCD light on the side of the TV was flashing blue then to reddish color then back to blue. It did this a couple of times. Then finally flashed blue a couple times then stayed blue. Then things were fine. I checked the settings to make sure the sleep timer and inactivity settings were set so the TV would not shut down settings were fine, power cord was fine also.
I think the TV would be a great one if it didn't have a mind of its own. When you buy a brand new item you do not except to have this many problems right away.
