good tv...although....

Pros good price,good quality,easy hookup,nice conections
Cons green flickering screen in between HD and regualar channels.
Recommended it? No
The Bottom Line:  I got a green flickering screen when I changed channels from HD channels to reglar channles. Im going to return this unit back to best buy!
When I got this TV from best buy it was on sale for $529. Then with tax it came out to be $574.51. Well I was not happy with something's of this unit. First I got a DVR/HD box from Comcast. It had a connection for a HDMI cable. So I bought an hdmi cable from best buy. The cable I bought was an Acoustic Research HDMI cable. That costed me $59.99. So I hooked it up and the first thing that I saw was that when I change channels I get a green flickering screen in between channels. So I called Westinghouse and told them what was going on. They said they haven't heard anything like that before. So I called Comcast to come out and check my dvr/hd box unit that they gave me. They said everything is working well. So it wasn't the box. So I thought it maybe the HDMI cable. So I took it back and got a Monster cable ultra 600 that costed me $99.99. I thought that would fix the green flickering screen when I change channels, but it didn't. So I went back to best buy and talked to one of the sales reps. He didn't know exactly what it was either. It looked like into HD channels and regular channels. So other sales reps told me that he had the same problem with his Westinghouse TV. So I figured that it's just not only my TV. So I am going to take it back today and get a Sharp or a Sony TV. I heard good things about those brands. The only thing that was ignoring was the green flickering in between channels. So beware even when I had the other component cables hooked up from the dvr/hd box to my TV I got a weird fazing screen when I changed channels. So that's what I am going to do is to return it back to best buy!
