Terrible life expectancy. Junk. Disposable.

The Bottom Line:
Don't go down this road. The Westinghouse 42" 1080p will stop working in two years or less. And you can't fix it. Your $$ will be toast!
Yup, it looks great, selects inputs by itself when you turn them on, 4 HDMI inputs. Good stuff while it lasts, and it won't last that long! I had burn in after 15 months, and power problems long before that - would turn off for no reason or freeze up etc. Now, after not quite two years, I count myself among the many thousands who got the shaft and paid for a disposable 1080p LCD. My 42" Westinghouse LCD is DEAD, and it isn't two years old! Seriously, don't be fooled, read the reviews and buy something else.
I am not just an unseen reviewer, i'm a real person who is now sitting on his couch looking at an $1100 boat anchor, and I have no money to replace what I though was a long term investment. This SUCKS.
No one who has owned this tv for more than a year will leave a good review. It is a piece of JUNK.
And, don't think you can get it fixed when it does brake. Just go throw it out and get another one. Customer service doesn't exist. The people that answer the phone are nice enough, but they have no vested interest in Westinghouse as a company, and won't do anything to help you.
