Great Radar!
Pros
Great ability to detect signals from a distance.
Cons
Does not pick up the radar camera until it has pictured someone ahead of you.

The Bottom Line:
Buy it, the money you'll save in speeding tickets will pay for the unit times 100.
I was very impressed w/ this model of detector. I initially bought it at a Costco in my area for under a $100.00 dollars, and it has saved me from a ticket on many occasions. I find that it DOES work on the VG2 system, and also works great for alerting you of a highway signal ahead. As for the laser, it detects it VERY well, and often will "chirp" for quite some time until you actually hit the trap- alerting you to slow down.
I had a bell prior to this, and since going to the Whistler (initially for the cost) I wouldn't buy anything else.
