I bought this unit because of it's features and price. I like the large display and the voice. It has accurately picked up police speed detection, grocery store door openers and building alarm systems. I drive a mixture of rural and city so I just leave it set on Highway mode. One very useful feature keeps it from continuing to beep fast and loud, it gives a quick full alert then calms down. We don't have safety warning system in our area yet so I can't give much on that.It has served me well with the exception of when I adjust the volume the sound is often gone until I fiddle with the knob or I hit a bump.
