Whistler DE-1732 Radar Detector

This thing has paid for itself 10 times over in the past year. Excellent at Ka and Laser. Yes, it picks up interference around drug stores and other locations with automatic doors but they are usually weak signals and are always in the X or K bands. I have discovered that the police around Detroit use Ka or laser almost exclusively so I have basically learned to tune out anything that is not Ka or is weak in the other 2 bands. Luckily this thing has a distinctive beep that you learn to recognize for Ka. It becomes automatic. The lights are easy to see and the thing couldn't be easier to use. To tune out the beeping from falsies I usually leave it on city mode. The laser detection is superb. It's more accurate than I expected when mounted properly, and the alarm is certainly noticeable!
