Buy only for the radio, not the Cd player!!
Pros
Detachable face, rca jacks, equalizer, good reception.
Cons
Cd player..skips, skips, skips!!! Cheapo feel on face buttons.

The Bottom Line:
Buy this for the radio, if that. If you want to play your cd's, get something else.
This will be brief, as I initally bought this, cause it was cheap...I've had some good success with cheap stuff from Walmart...and it was going into a Jeep Wrangler which is prone to thefts. Plus it played mp3s, so at that price, I had to try it. And if it didn't work, I could always exchange it...thank God, I saved the receipt on this one!!
Hook up was quick and easy, and after installation, decided to take it for a ride and see how it performed. From a radio listening standpoint, it wasn't bad at all. Reception was very good and the sound wasn't bad, thanks to the built in equalizer and loudness button.
Speaking of buttons, they did feel kind of cheap and had a loose feeling to them. Occasionally, it took a couple of presses to get them to engage. It does come with two sets of RCA jacks, which is good for connection to an amp or two.
Now, for the worst part...the cd players skips terribly!! Even over some very small bumps, it would skip. Was so odd, sometimes over large bumps, no skip at all. Then, running over a gnat would cause it to skip. Then, hit a large bump and it would stop playing for about 3 seconds, wihle it adjusted itself. Then a couple of times, it skipped at a stop light!! Overall, the cd performance was terrible!! BTW, I played the same cd's on a cd changer and not once did it skip, over the same songs.
So, I ended up exchanging it for a Pioneer model. In all fairness, if you buy this as radio and just a radio, its a good deal. BUT, if you bought this to play cd's forget it!! You are better off getting Pioneer or Sony...that is, if you buy a lot of stuff from Walmart, like I do.
