A Must-Have for Bass-Lovers!

Pros Really great sound!
Cons It'll get you hooked on MP3s.
Recommended it? Yes
The Bottom Line:  If you love bass and want a good set of speakers, invest in a set of these for your computer.
I must admit, I am a bass junkie. So, when someone unexpectedly bought me this great set of computer speakers with a sub for no apparent reason, I wasn't going to complain.

My dorm room isn't exactly hooked up with the greatest of stereo equipment, so I would normally have to be in my car to listen to a CD properly. Now, with these speakers, I can have the good quality and clear bassline in the comfort(?) of my dorm.

These speakers are very simple to set up, and they don't take up too much space (a normal concern of college students). I wouldn't recommend hooking these speakers up to a regular PC unless you have a good amount of desk space; I have a laptop, so it's a perfect fit.

Now about those MP3s... it's the latest craze for computer enthusiasts and techno junkies alike. I got swept up in the whole thing and am on my way to making audiogalaxy.com my start page. The sound of the MP3s seems to be enhanced by these speakers; it might just be that you can finally hear the bass in them.

Basically, these are great speakers, and believe me, they make a great gift. Now, I put zero in the amount paid field because these were a gift. The Yamaha website lists the price as $49.99.
