The Bottom Line:
If you want surround sound, this product is useless. Only buy it if you want 2 small fronts and a small subwoofer.
The speakers and woofer are good quality for the price, however the connection to the PC is USB which means that any 5.1 sound card becomes unused and hence you can not add speakers for surround sound. The connections to the satellite speakers are not standard jacks so they have to be plugged into the subwoofer. All over it is rather disappointing to see the 5.1 sound card i own totally wasted because Yamaha for some reason decide that USB allows different signals to be sent to the subwoofer that apparantly can help to improve the sound. It does perform pretty well for what it is intended to do, so if that is all you care about then it would be a good product.
