Yamaha YST-MSW8

The Yamaha YST-MSW/28 is a subwoofer plus to speaker combo for your P.C. For average use (games, t.v. etc) the YST provides good sound for the dollar, however, I've notice at midrange and high volumes the sub cannot perform very well. Perhaps I am demanding too much from this value system but the pops and cracks at upper mid-range volumes has proved to be annoying. The system comes in a package of a 15 watt subwoofer and a pair of speakers that give fairly good sound. I have noticed though, after about 6 months of use the right speaker does not play as loud as the left. I would not recommend this system for users that demand superior surround sound from a compact speaker unit, however if you interests leans more toward cost versus quality, the YST-MS28 is probably right up your alley.
