Best Point and Shoot

Pros price, optics, size
Cons small viewfinder
Recommended it? Yes
This is a wonderful little camera, it sits alongside my Nikon F3hp and my Hasselblad 500cm. The results from the T4 aren't like those from the Hassy or the Nikon, but that would be like comparing apples and oranges. The T4 has a great lens, the body is WEATHERPROOF(not waterproof), and there's a cool little waist level finder. The only drawbacks in my opinion are that the viewfinder is tiny and the flash isn't very powerful. About the flah, it's a fill flash and in most cases isn't powerful enough to light up a really dark scene, but in terms of fill, it works fine. It's a sturdy camera although it is kinda slippery; mines been dropped a few times and escaped with nothing but a few scratches. Like I said before, the lens is great, but don't expect Hasselblad quality just because it's a Zeiss lens. The lens is extremely sharp, color saturation is heavy especially with slower films, I prefer Fuji but results can vary depending on your lab. From my experience the camera consistantly gives wonderful results. I generally shoot color negative film with it although I have shot a few rolls of black and white and some slides with it, all of which came out great.
If you're looking for an inexpensive camera the T4 is definitely worth looking at, I've also heard many good things about the Olympus Stylus Epic, which is a little cheaper for those on a budget. Or if you're looking for a cheap small manual camera the old Canon Canonet G3QL's are well worth the money. Look on ebay for them.
