The Bottom Line:
Buy it now before you regret it.
I used a Contax T2 for a few years, and obtained excellent pictures with it. Unfortunately, it got left behind in a bus, and I could not locate it ,even after an extensive search and numerous phone calls. As I paid quite a high price for it, I was reluctant to spend the same kind of money again. I decided to settle for the Yashica T5 (T4 Super). As I heard that it was a good camera, I decided to buy two pieces, a silver one and a black one (with date). The total cost came to less than what it would cost to buy a Contax T2.
So far, I have brought at least one of them along on my overseas travels, and I have no complaints about the quality of the photos. In fact, the photos are as good as those taken with the Contax T2. I have no regrets buying these cameras, except for the sensitive shutter release, which sometimes fires while the auto focus is being activated. The body is not very solid, but for $150, what can you expect?
