yashica, is it the best?
Pros
compact, functional, battery life, lens
Cons
no zoom
Recommended it?
Yes
Yashica's little T4 became one of the favorite cameras now, with it's excelent lens compared to the best optics in the world makes these point-and-shoot cameras distinct from most other point-and-shoot cameras. This lens which I believe is made in Germany delivers perfect image and the camera takes great colorful, sharp pictures, excellent for enlargements and slides. Since it is a typical point-and-shoot, there is no any advanced features like remote, exposure compensation, interval shooting, multi-exposure, but it is filled with a couple flash modes. One thing that this camera is missing is a zoom lens, it uses a fixed lens that has Auto focus. Zoom is something you have to sacrifice if you get this one. So, if you plan to take close-ups or landscapes and moving targets, look for at least 85 or 105 zoom cameras, but if you generally take portraits and people, consider this marvelous camera that is not only a good value but also an excellent quality. It is also offered as weatherproof and comes in two different colors.
I recommend it to anyone who likes extremely small cameras and cares about lens excellence, even though it has a cheap look to some extend, it will make wonders form your imagination, the prints will surprise you!
