I bought this VCR from Circuit City to play Disney videos for my granddaughter. It is a standard VCR, no bells & whistles. It lasted less than five months. Junk
If you buy one of these from Circuit City, be sure to buy a Cityadvantage Protection Plan. I bought one of these for my self & one for my son. Both failed within the first year. Two Failures
I bought a Zenith VCS-442 at Circuit City. After a few days, the picture began to flip in the SLP mode--later in the SP mode. Adjusting the tracking didn't help. Horrible Picture.
Bad pulsating scan lines.
Scratchy playback even with new videos.
Absolutely the worst VCR I've ever purchased.
Was awful on both TV & PC TV Tuner Card (ATI VE Via Monitor).

Poor product, doesn't work
I went to Circuit City and purchased this VCR. I came home, set up the time, channels, etc. It was fine. I inserted a tape. The VCR froze for 5 minutes or more.
