i like it
Pros
Wonderfully bright display and easy to read text. Auxillary output option
Cons
Menu operation may be a challenge for some. Tampering with it will clarify the difficulty.

The Bottom Line:
I recommend Aiwa because it is a powerful sounding cd player and has a nice looking display.
You know i simply have to agree with Bobbyslay in almost every regard. I went through the exact same process of purchasing this cd player from Best Buy and having them install it for "FREE!" a.k.a $40. Gee thanx Best Buy.
Never the less i got the Aiwa in my dash and i love it. These people complaining about how hard the menu is to use on the Aiwa may need to reconsider the instruction manual. At worst, the menu operation is a minor inconvenience. Bobbyslay was very accurate with instructions on how to operate the menu.
I cannot truly compare the Aiwa to any high end expensive cd players but it has to be close to the top for its price range ($119). I can only compare it to the factory Delco cd player which came factory in my 96 chevy caprice. It was actually a decent cd player but it had nowhere near the features and options of the Aiwa. I enjoyed its bright blue display at first, but now i primarily keep it dimmed and it works great. I also like its equalizer. Gives good control over which components will be heard stronger, highs, mids, or lows.
It is also nice to know that if i want to use an auxillery device i have that option. I personally am having a ball with my Aiwa and my little 6 x 9 3-way pioneer speakers also installed by Best Buy. I think it sounds awesome.
