The Bottom Line:
I won't recommend this unit as it broke down in just 14 months.
The unit worked OK during the first 14 months. Last month, I found that the indicator lights turned off even though the batteries were not fully charged. Now, the unit fails to turn on entirely. This really surprised me as my old charger worked for 10 years before it went down. Furthermore, the unit only works in countries where the voltage is 120V. Not a good choice if you travel to Asia frequently. Repair or replacement has to be done through the manufacturer in New York. This is not convenient if the unit requires service during the 1-year warranty period. I would not spend any money on this brand due to the poor quality and inconvenient service.
