By the time this fifth DUKES OF HAZZARD season aired in 1982 Bo and Luke had been written out of the script as original actors John Schneider and Tom Wopat moved on to other projects. But to Boss Hog's Sorrell Booke dismay they've been replaced by Bo and Luke's cousins Coy Byron Cherry and Vance Duke Christopher Mayer who arrive in town to help Uncle Jesse Denver Pyle run his farm.
