The ConnectPlay is a compact multi-purpose all-in-one mobile HD accessory. Through its simultaneous support of MHLTM and HDMI®, the ConnectPlay device provides seamless and transparent plug-and play between MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link) mobile devices (such as an MHL-enabled mobile phone or tablet) and HDTVs with HDMI ports. In addition its support of USB allows data transfer between mobile devices and PCs. Multiple charging options are available with the included USB AC power charger or connecting to a PC USB port. An added benefit is that charging can take place while simultaneously viewing content from the mobile device on the HDTV. ConnectPlay also facilitates the HDTV's remote to control the MHL mobile device allowing for easy no-hands operation of the mobile device*. Periodic software downloads available on www.DVDO.com maintain plug-and-play compatibility. This all-in-one device has an integrated 20-inch USB-A plug cable and an 8-inch micro-USB plug cable with a 30-inch total end-to-end span that almost disappears with wrap-and-hide cable management. It connects to the HDTV through the ConnectPlay's HDMI port and the included 1-meter high-speed HDMI cable. *HDTV must have Consumer Electronics Control (CEC) and ConnectPlay updated software.
