I received this mp3 player for Christmas from my parents, and although I wanted an iPod because I thought they were more attractive and just fun (what can I say? I love the circle-control-thing!), I have fallen in love with my iAudio! It is compact and very lightweight, but is still a sturdy little device. It is easy to transport, and even came with a soft plastic case to help protect the screen.
The sound quality is amazing. The easy to use menus also offer great features like an equalizer and controls for bass.
The included program for transfer of music from the computer to the device is very user-friendly, and allows the user to organize songs into folders. The single double A battery that this device requires is the biggest perk of all, and is what most definitely makes it stand out from the Apple iPods. With iPods having an internal rechargeable battery that can only be replaced for a pricey fee at Apple stores, it can be annoying and difficult, not to mention expensive to change the battery. By using a single double A, the iAudio is most cost-effective in the end, especially if you invest in rechargeable batteries.
