Yes
I am a student, and in academia, Macs are preferred. The rumor was that the Macs don't freeze or get viruses. I must say, only one month into ownership of my first Mac, I am impressed. The OS/X operating system has a simple and aesthetic interface. Getting used to the Mac did not take long at all. I was surprised how painless the switch was from a Windows environment to the Mac was. For the smallest, least expensive model of the Mac laptop line, this little computer rocks. Most impressive is the AirPort and Dashboard features. The applications are fast and efficient.
