Very Happy with my purchase...

Pros Great Sound quality, design, storage, great display, many features, simple software and REALLY fast transfers!
Cons Except for the price... nothing!!! Great Player!!!
Recommended it? Yes
The Bottom Line:  Awesome player would recommend to people who love music, want to travel in style and want a good quality mp3 player, even new users.

I have been looking for an Mp3 player for the longest time now, I had a Panasonic CD Player and I was tired of having to replace the batteries, creating new mixes and lugging so much bulk.

So I decided to buy an MP3 player, I thought that the iPod mini was too expensive for my taste and I though it was a waste of money. First I was interested in the Rio S35, but then I moved to look at the Rio Chiba, but they no longer sold them and I was prepared to buy one from the US (I'm from Canada), but then the iPod mini went on sale. Instead of $329 Cdn it was $229 Cdn, so I decided to buy it but they didn't have anymore iPod mini first generations because they were trying to make room for the new iPod minis (2nd Generation)and they were selling for just $20 more so I waited another month until it came out. While I waited I researched some Rio forges and carbons and found that a lot of them were defected. As for the Creative Zen Micros, they're nice but they don't have the glam as the iPod mini. They might have voice recorder and FM Radio but I don't really use those features plus they don't have the simplicity and easiness of the click wheel.

Finally came the day when the new iPod minis came out!And I took the last one!! So now I own an Blue iPod mini second generation.

I love this player, it beats having a Cd player, the only thing is the price which has decreased a lot... but I think it is worth it!

I did encounter some problems though but they were easily in seconds, but don't let it dicourage you, because it was not a "biggie".
1) I downloaded the iPod software and iTunes(but I already had it on my computer), on command iTunes automatically updated my iPod with my library in iTune in minutes and I don't even have a high speed hub! But then i accidentally loaded the iPod software again and that's where the problem started.... iTunes then didn't recognize my iPod and said that I have to repair iTunes, but I did and it didn't help, so I uninstalled all the software including iTunes and reloaded it. Now it is fine and I didn't even lose one song!
2) Then once I was listening to my iPod when it suddenly froze and none of the buttons worked. But I reset it and now it works fine again!! I didn't lose any songs or data either.
I think this is a great mp3 player, beautiful and has great storage. Come on who needs an mp3 player that has as many gigs as some computers??!! And I think you will be happy too.
