Apple iPod Mini (Green) 4GB MP3 Player

Pros Great MP3 player. Ease of use. Songs organized.
Cons Battery replacement costs almost half the price of the iPod itself.
Recommended it? Yes
The Bottom Line:  I enjoy using the iPod and will recommend it to everyone I know.
Green? And pretty? Yes, it is possible. Green had never been my color, but this just breaks the rules.

At first, I thought the iPod was a bit overpriced. Well, I still do but after a year of using the item, I thought of all the features that the iPod had and well, it was well worth all my Christmas money.

The Apple iPod Mini lives up to its name. It is very mini. It's just about the size of my cellphone and just as heavy. Its compact design allowed me to wear it in my jacket pocket and still have room for my hands to move around.

For some odd reason, I rarely could install anything properly and yet, the iTunes (which comes with the iPod Mini) was easy to upload to my computer. I had to update it via the Apple website once in a while -for better features- but the hassle is worth it... most of the time.

I listen to a variety of songs from Pop to JPop, Rock to Alternative, Classical to Country. The iPod Mini (with the help of iTunes!) allows easy song organization. And with 4GB of memory, my 1000+ songs can easily be found. I can search for your songs alphabetically, by artist, by genre, by album and even by producer. I can also rate the songs by the point system. The songlists feature allowed me to place my favorite songs in whatever grouping I wanted. If I had wanted to place Cher with the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Megadeth and Stevie Wonder, I can do as I please.

The sound comes out very crisp and the bass gives the all-around-you feel.

The controls were a little hard at first (having been used to clicking rather than wheel turning), but I got used to it.

Apple does not make the conventional USB cord like Sony does so differentiating the USB cord from the cord I use with the plug was a little annoying.

Overall, I enjoyed my year with my iPod. Now, if only the battery did not need any replacing.
