The Bottom Line:
It's packed full of features and great sound. A definite buy.
I work and play on an Apple iBook and G4. My goal was to find a good value MP3 player that would be OSX compatible, have an FM tuner, file storage support and transfer rate, great sound, and be one that I could go to the gym with. Well, after doing extensive research for several months, this gem finally caught my eye.
I am very happy that I purchased it. Sound quality is amazing. It has all the features that I listed above and more. It allows for a variable rate, no limits to the kbps that your song can be (I've had a 320kbps song on there). It comes with 6 preloaded songs, a battery, fabulous sounding headphones and armband included. The software for transferring the songs is also very simple, and with the USB 2.0 transfer rate, it's quick and painless.
There are some very minor drawbacks that I've found, but definitely should not be a deciding factor in making this purchase. They as follows:
1. The earphones, are a little larger than I'm used to, and although they work fantastically when I'm just walking down the street, they have a tendency of falling out while I'm doing my daily runs.
2. Song files cannot be transfered from one computer, onto the device, and then onto another computer. A warning about copyright pops up and won't allow it.
